Let's be clear: the Iowa race was never close.
Only 14% of Republicans in Iowa voted last night. trump won half of them, so 7 percent, and Ron DeSantis only managed to bag a fraction of them, despite spending a year there and burning millions.
Republicans used to talk about "personal responsibility" and bootstraps all the time, but the GOP is now the "sore loser" party, blaming everyone but themselves for their own failures.
Andrew Romeo, DeSantis' Communications Director, posted the most sour grapes tweet ever, whining "Absolutely outrageous that the media would participate in election interference by calling the race before tens of thousands of Iowans even had a chance to vote. The media is in the tank for Trump and this is the most egregious example yet."
Ron, take your 2nd place participation trophy and go back to your state where you banned abortion after 6 weeks, you're fighting a losing war against "woke" and Disney, and insurance rates are skyrocketing for homeowners.
