Yesterday’s snowstorm in Toronto. Icy roads. Limited visibility. I charged 12 drivers for texting while driving during rush hour commute. In winter conditions, reaction time is everything. A phone takes it away. Vision Zero isn’t a slogan — it’s prevention. Put the phone down.

Spotted a driver using their phone. When stopped, the driver tossed an open can of beer out the window. Charged with distracted driving, careless driving, & liquor offences. 3 mgs away from losing licence (47mgs per 100mil) Distracted and under the influence #DontDrinkAndDrive

An adult female has been transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre after being assaulted where she has been pronounced deceased. An unknown suspect remains outstanding. Updates to follow.
