@akshat_ak11 40GB sounds huge, but System Data is usually lots of small things adding up, not one giant file. Finding what's growing is more useful than deleting things at random.

@cheaf25master @TechyAizen The problem with that is Fedora releases a new version every six months, and each release is supported for only about 13 months. This rapid upgrade cycle requires you to jump between versions frequently to continue receiving security updates.

Dumb question, but hear me out... Safari is supposedly so well optimized for MacBooks... so why's Chrome still the first app most people install after unboxing?

The biggest PC buying mistakes happen before you even press the power button. Most people compare CPUs and GPUs first. We start with the PSU, motherboard and upgrade path. A smarter buying decision usually costs less than a later repair.

This Lenovo all-in-one looked ready for the recycling pile. The hard drive had failed, so Windows wouldn't load. We replaced the failed hard drive with a new SSD and installed Windows 10. Now it's back up and running with much faster performance. Sometimes the right repair saves buying a whole new computer.

@DamnGoodTrading @msigaming Overheating would definitely be on my checklist, but the video only proves the symptom. I'd want to confirm whether it's temperatures, the GPU, VRAM or the display path before blaming one part.

Finally caught my @msigaming laptop crash in video. This has been happening since I bought this nearly $5,000 laptop. Happened twice today and it's been such a fucking headache to get them to actually do more than just reset windows or update firmware. Now I finally have irrefutable proof that they sold me a lemon laptop and if this isn't enough for them to actually DO SOMETHING to fix the laptop then idk what is.

@mpr_reviews If it does turn out to be the RM850, it's worth checking the warranty before buying another one. Corsair's RM Series carries up to a 10-year warranty depending on the exact model and production year.

I have a very weird issue with my PC, and everything I've researched so far points to the PSU's 5V delivery. Every now and again when I get to my PC in the morning my keyboard lights will be on. The PC would he switched off the previous night. When this happens I cant switch on my PC. The power button does nothing. Switching off the PSU for even a second resolves it. When I get to my PC in the mornings and my keyboard lights are off it has no issue powering on. I've tested this by disconnecting everything except for display, power, and keyboard and it still happens every 3rd day or so. Reddit posts I've read points to a possible issue with the PSU related to 5V delivery. Also, my keyboard lights would be fully off when I switch off my PC. They light up somewhere during the night. I have tried disabling continuous USB power when the PC is off too, as well as toggling ErP settings. Anybody experience something similar before? Is PSU replacement the only solution? It's a 3yr old Corsair RM850.

@n40_pnc One bent pin can look harmless. It's usually the one contact that decides whether the whole system boots.
