Padded mailer or box when shipping usps ground advantage? I like the cardboard boxes, but I see way more padded mailers these days. @CardPurchaser

@BobbleheadCards @CardPurchaser This thermal label printer was also a godsend. Recommended by someone on x too. Can find a cheap one on Amazon too.

@BobbleheadCards @CardPurchaser As far as shipping costs it’s the same (I am also fairly novice here, so maybe I’m not doing it right). Material cost the 4x5x1 boxes are ~$25 for 100 and the padded mailers are ~$16 for 100 (on Amazon)

@PC_Radar @CardPurchaser Question, as I’ve only done BMWT for over $20, what’s the cost effectiveness of a box compared to a bubble mailer?

I got a card in the mail the other day that was a medium padded mailer, then another folded medium padded mailer, then a small padded mailer, then a ding defender sandwich, then a paper envelope, then a team bag and then the card. Like a Russian nesting doll of packaging. Respect to the seller. 😂

@PC_Radar @CardPurchaser I would say it depends on the value. If it's a relatively inexpensive card, use a bubble mailer. If it's a bit pricey, or in a slab, box with some bubble wrap protection.

@Hollywood_Crue @CardPurchaser That’s my thought process too. Little more time consuming to package, but worth the effort, especially for a more expensive sale.

@AdamSampson13 I hit this red auto yesterday of the throwback design. This design is so cool too. Too bad the corners on this were trashed and the back was chipped.

@PC_Radar @CardPurchaser Nothing better than a parking lot sale. My buddy used to sell cars he built and would have me come with him and I would have his MP5 in my passenger seat. Arizona was wild. Can’t wait to hear some selling my cards in a parking lot horror stories.
