This is what Reform thinks of the Welsh language. 😠 They're not fit to be anywhere near power here in Wales. Vote Plaid Cymru on 7 May to stop Reform. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

@gerrydiamond71 What would we do if an adult became dysregulated. We would be concerned and ask ‘what has upset you and what can I do to help?’ We hold children to higher standards and their brains are still developing. Crazy!

So,we are viewing behaviour through dysregulation expressed through an overwhelmed nervous system? Brilliant, shift the mindset. Awareness is the first step to viewing behaviour using a lens of curiosity. "What might help this pupil return to regulation?"🧠🌱

💬 “There’s no such thing anymore as a naughty child… they’re ‘dysregulated’” A provocative moment from #TTRConnect2026 from Alun Ebenezer's talk. Has the language around behaviour gone too far… or is this an important shift? 👇 What do you think? 🎥 Watch the whole talk here: streamyard.com/watch/7hDTKTQA… #education #teachers #schoolbehaviour #teaching #schools #teachertok #teachersoftiktok

Many young people's behaviours are due to a developmental gap rather than a behavioural choice or just being naughty. Rather than this child needs to be punished, what if we asked ourselves. "What does their brain & body need right now & build they all mportant gaps?"🧠🌱

You can't fix executive dysfunction & an underdeveloped brain with punishments, isolation, sticker charts & loss of privileges. They can't fix executive dysfunction & dont rewire regulation. They have a short-lived (or no) impact. If they actually worked ,it would be easy by now🧠🌱

Pupils rely heavily on the pre-frontal cortex for impulse control, thinking & cooperation which is still very underdeveloped.Under stress & in survival mode listening can be difficult, not because they are refusing, because their nervous system cannot access the skills required.🧠🌱
