A hive of D&T activity this morning. ✂️ We designed our aprons, used a template and charcoal pencil to create the main shape then cut it out using fabric scissors. Tomorrow, we sew! 📍🧵🪡 #pdadt

Today was our Ukelele Performance! We played a selection of tunes and sang some very fun songs for our audience. 🎵 We also invited Year 2, to inspire them for what is to come next year! 🎶 Holly and Ivy played some beautiful piano solos too 👌 #pdamusic

Last week, we had the best day ever at the World Museum in Liverpool! Lots of retrieval practice from our Ancient Egypt topic last half term #pdahistory

This morning, we were recognising and drawing horizontal and vertical lines! Great focus, year 3! #pdamaths

Exploring the properties of many fabrics, we learnt that fabric technology is fantastic! There are so many kinds of fabric, each designed for different purposes. #pdadt

Some outdoor activities in PE today, developing our throwing skills and our standing long jump. Finished off with some sprints, for good measure! 🎾🏃🏃‍♀️We are so fortunate to have our beautiful field. #pdape

And now to the fun bit, learning how to attach a piece of fabric to another. We had a go at running stitch this week on a small piece of fabric. We needed to dig deep for patience and use lots of resilience! #pdadt

Product investigation! 🔎 This half term our DT unit has a textiles focus. We will design and make an apron to use when cooking or baking 🧑‍🍳 #pdadt
