LRC2 have enjoyed a teddy bears’ picnic inspired by the book ‘This is the bear and the picnic lunch’ by Sarah Hayes. They made their own sandwiches, played party games, shared teddy bear songs & rhymes and discovered more stories by the author in our reading area.🧸@PDCSPrimary

Making fruit kebabs using our favourite fruits. LRC2 chopped the fruits carefully and enjoyed eating them at snack time! We also created our own pictures of the caterpillar on the whiteboard and using our handprints in paint. #ambitiouscapablelearners 🐛@HeadPdcs

Another busy week of learning last week! Following instructions to make honey sandwiches, creating repeating patterns, counting bees and their hives, working really hard on our letter formation and making models using the construction toys. 🐝 Da iawn pawb! @HeadPdcs @pdcsprimary

LRC2 have really enjoyed their learning this week based on #thesnailandthewhale by #juliadonaldson. Lots of mark making, creating spirals using a variety of media, phonics and creative work. @PDCSPrimary @HeadPdcs 🐌🐋

We’ve had so much fun in amser cwest time this week. Our story of the week was ‘The Rainbow Fish’ so we brought the ocean to school - exploring the seaweed and shells in the water tray. We also created our own rainbow fish.🐠🐟🦀🪼

We have been practicing counting with the 5 and 10 grids, numicon and making numbers to 5 with play dough.
