Today Mantas broke the U20 scoring record with 46 points, along with 12 boards, 5 assists while shooting 18-26 from the field and 7-13 from 3 He's averaging 23.7 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 2.5 APG while shooting 37.4% from 3 (7.3 3PA) and 91% on FT's. Posed for a breakout season with a bigger role.

6'9 17-year old Nikola Kusturica had a fantastic world cup for Serbia leading them to a silver medal Kusturica's blend of length, motor, defensive versatility , shot making and ball-skills are among one of the best at his age. The Serbian wing averaged 24.7 PPG, 6.9 RPG, 2.8 APG on 47/27/76 splits, totaling a career high vs the US with 37 points in the gold medal game. Has all the talent in the world to push for that number one spot in 2028.

JBB is without a doubt a gifted prospect, it was easy to see just how special he was at Barca, what I've really loved over this year is how much of a competitor he is. Had a long season with Barca's U22 team leading them to the Liga U finals vs Madrid, then went and won a ANGT championship and MVP with Barca's U18 squad. Tested himself In Treviso playing up in Eurocamp where he was the most impressive prospect and now winning MVP and leading USA to a gold medal in the U17 WC. Busy offseason for the star forward but never once phased and never not wanting to compete for his clubs and nation. He'll arrive at Durham shortly after this event where he'll enter Duke as the second youngest player in the nation next season, a testimony of how great he wants to be one day.

Another elite showing from Duke commit Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje in the U17 World cup in Türkiye. The 17-year old incoming duke freshman was unbelieve all WC averaging 19.7 PPG, 10.9 RPG, 2.8 APG and 4.2 stocks per game while shooting 59/53/88 splits. The 7-1 forward continues to showcase his versatility as a ball-handler, shooter and athlete, knocked down 53.4% of his 3's on 4.6 attempts per game and his absurd 88.4% at the line got him to a 74% TS. Where JBB really shined was as a rebounder, physically gifted but his effort to attack the glass was invaluable for the US, offering multiple second chances where they connected on. In an event with multiple future top picks, none looked stronger than the Duke freshman.

From the jump USA has absolutely dominated their opponents this U17's and no different today, outside of Kusturica, there's not enough juice for Serbia to contain a roster that is loaded from top to bottom and has 3 of the 6 best prospects in this event. Without a doubt Duke's JBB should be walking away with MVP honors but how Black has controlled games has been very impressive and was a lottery type of showing for CJ Rosser.

Ukrainian 23-year old guard Oleksandr Kovliar has continued to dominate at the FIBA level averaging 22.3 PPG and 6.4 APG for Ukraine in WC qualifiers The 6-3 Buducnost guard has taken on a lead guard role for his nation and has had star level performances vs many NBA/EL players, most recently totaling 23 and 3 vs a Lithuanian squad with 4 NBA players. His value is a bit undervalued at the moment in EU but an electric speedy shot maker in the right system, who's weighing both options in the US and EU.

7-1 (Eurocamp listing) 🇺🇸🇨🇲 Joaquim Boumtje-Boumtje: Duke Stats: 16.7 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 2.1 APG on 51.5% FG, 35.7% 3PT, 78.4% FT splits JBB took over the college basketball world when he committed to Duke as the Blue Devils landed another top 5 draft pick in Boumtje-Boumtje JBB is the prototypical NBA stretch 4, has good positional size, can space the floor, handle the ball, be a playmaker and attack the rim. When attacking downhill I do think Boumtje-Boumtje can be pretty stiff and athletically won't wow you, but he is a functional athlete, still going to need to adjust coming to Duke but once he does, Duke will have one of the best in the nation. Day one stats: vs France: 12 PTS, 5 RBS, 2 ASTS, 5/8 FG, 2/3 3PT, +21, 21 mins

2. 6-10 🇺🇸 CJ Rosser: 2027 Stats: 16.5 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 1.7 APG on 36.7% FG, 17.7% 3PT, 70.6% FT splits Rosser's inefficiency during EYBL play has been more than apparent yet still the only season, event or showcase where he's been sub 40%. Personally I'm a believer in Rosser's long term upside, what he is now is very streaky and at times frustrating but jumbo creators, that can shoot, move well, very athletic and can defend are become staples in where the NBA is trending and Rosser could be next in line.
