Our second @PDaHW Trailblazers session of the day has just finished - another set of inspiring speakers showing how pharmacy is driving innovation and spreading best practice across Wales. Well done all.

Truly inspirational to hear from Charlotte Makanga, Charlotte Richards and Zoe Kennerley on the work of @MalawiWalesAMP - the only pharmacy-led international health partnership. A powerful example of stepping out of comfort zones, collaboration and two-way learning.

To close our morning session at the @PDaHW Conference, President Prof Claire Anderson and Wales’ Chief Pharmaceutical Officer Andrew Evans paid tribute to our Director for Wales, Elen Jones, who is leaving RPS after 12 years this week. Diolch Elen! Thank you Elen!

It’s an exciting time at @rpharms as we move towards becoming the Royal College of Pharmacy. Therefore it's great to have our President, Prof Claire Anderson, with us at the @PDaHW Conference to provide an update on the journey and the next steps ahead.

Our @PDaHW Conference 'Trailblazers' session never disappoints! Seven speakers this morning, each driving change in pharmacy. Lets now learning from each other and spreading successful best practice across Wales.

Diolch - thank you to @Jeremy_Miles Cabinet Secretary for Health, for joining us at today’s @PDaHW Conference. Great to hear him celebrate how far pharmacy in Wales has come since 2019 and outline the next steps in services, digital innovation and workforce investment.

We've just had an inspiring keynote presentation at our @PDaHW Conference keynote from Sophie Pierce – the first person with CF to row the Atlantic – and CF pharmacist Mari Beddis, whose expert support helped make it possible. What an achievement!

Our RPS Wales Chair @GMMcCaffrey underlined the importance of the RPS Wales Board in shaping policy and laying the ground for pharmacy’s future - encouraging members to get involved by standing in next year’s board election.
