Talented athletes of Team Manipur who brought laurels to the state at the 25th Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship held in Tamil Nadu visited me at my residence. With 62 participants, our spirited contingent bagged an impressive 60 medals- including 36 Gold, 14 Silver, and 10 Bronze. Manipur was crowned: Overall Taolu Team Champion, Taolu Boys and Girls Team Champions and Sanda Boys Runners-up. Manipur continues to lead the nation in sports, and I couldn’t be prouder.
