Our students had an amazing time during a special assembly with Bash the Trash, where music, creativity, and environmental awareness came together in a fun and engaging performance.

They added their voices to our hallway heart wall, writing what makes our school special, from friendships and teachers to fun learning experiences.
Our students in Ms. Ragusa’s first grade class have been learning how to control and code our Smart Start Dash robots! 🤖✨
To top it off, they became the teachers, visiting Mrs. Maldonado’s class to demonstrate how to program and operate the Dash bots.
🐧❄️ First Grade Arctic Animal Research on Display! ❄️
Take a walk down our hallways and you’ll see some incredible learning in action! Our first graders recently completed an Arctic Animal Research project.
We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and research skills.
📚 Today in the library, students engaged in meaningful conversation around the MSK pledge and the Yonkers MSK tenets, S.O.A.R. They also participated in a getting-to-know-you activity that helped build connection and community.

❄️⛄ Under the guidance of Mrs. McCann, students created these one-of-a-kind snowmen using clay, a kiln, and paint. Each piece reflects imagination and artistic skill!
Our 4th graders dove into hands-on science by placing celery in colored water to observe how plants transport water. This HMH Science investigation helped students explore plant parts and how they function through real-world experimentation.
