Power still writes history. Yesterday’s decisive US-Israeli operation laid bare a fundamental truth of geopolitics: strategy and force shape outcomes. While Washington and Jerusalem acted, Europe offered rhetoric and caution. The EU may be an economic colossus, but when history is made, it still watches from the sidelines.

World Uncertainty Index just hit a record 105,000. Yes, uncertainty is cyclical. But peaks like this signal something deeper: a transition in the world order. Europe must think and act strategically; energy, defence, capital markets, cohesion. Moments like this test and reset systems. 🇪🇺

Great news for European capital markets! Today at Davos, President Ursula von der Leyen announced EU. Inc. A single European company structure with one set of rules across the EU. Online incorporation in just **48 hours**, no more cross-border bureaucracy. This is exactly what we've long pushed for to create a true single market for startups, innovation, and financing. We hope the EU implements it efficiently and with founders in mind.

@alpitu21 Not only the country, but our entire damn continent. And the police turned soft just like the justice system. Rather send them off than to be called racist or xenophobic

@outcast11004 What miniscule? It's for ALL! The only difference is that sensitive products like meat or sugar are having TRQ, which means Tariff Rate Quota, which sets a limit, but the limit is already more than our own damn production

@PEF_info Its a 92% tariff elemination on a tiny, miniscule part of imports related to domestic production. No I dont think it will change much. Especially if you compare it to what Europe gains in the deal

@PEF_info You know that we already import south american goods right? The reason they didnt take over the market is because of tariffs and for the vast majority of consumption, that wont change. E.g duty free imports from Mercosur will make up about 1,5% of domestic production

@outcast11004 It's about affordability, not quality. The South American products are one of the cheapest and most mass productive from the market. They will be favoured by a lot and European farmers will have an impossible competition

@PEF_info How does that matter when there are strict quotas in the trade deal itself? Its not like its a free trade deal for all products and Argentinia can dump all their meat in Europe duty free. For anything other than the specified quota, nothing changes from the status quo

@outcast11004 Mutual trade from a market 2x larger than you makes you be trade dependent which results in a deficit. Why do you think I mentioned the sizes of the agriculture and animal industries?

That's because they are a company? Not independent interpreters that do manual labour on their money. And these billions made us have agricultural surplus, now we are losing that as well. Our only minimal gains would be from exports of automobiles, cheese, wine, chemicals and machinery, which SA already has a large industry for

@PEF_info No other business vacuums up billions in subsidies every year and then still has the audacity to complain. Look at the auto industry - they now have ot compete with chinese products and factories are being shut down. Yet you don't see them throwing motor oil in the street.

@YukariYaku49940 What do you think they were doing beforehand? I don't blame them. If my work and money would have to compete with a market 100x larger and cheaper than my business, I would revolt as well

@PEF_info European farmers would be less affected if they actually worked instead of focusing on covering monuments in cow manure and begging for subsidies.

@alpitu21 Never claimed the EU only, first of all. Second of all, Mercosur is only good on paper. Check the numbers and the market and see how we lose food sovereignty and go bankrupt. I can make a whole thread about it. And for the third of all, here thesun.co.uk/news/37931988/…

🇳🇱 INSANITY: RAPE COMPLAINS IGNORED! Terrified Dutch students forced to live with 125 refugees for "integration" endured yrs of sexual assaults, violence & harassment, Zembla investigation reveals. 125 students + 125 refugees lived together, encouraged to "buddy up" for faster migrant adaptation. Students reported multiple sexual assaults, stalking, violence, fights in hallways & living room, plus alleged gang rape. One man was threatened with 8-inch kitchen knife. In one case, Syrian man raped woman (Amanda) after inviting her to watch film & refusing to let her leave. She said: "He wanted to learn Dutch & get education. I wanted to help him." Authorities ignored repeated reports.

German Chancellor, Friedrich Merz, says that the shut down of Germany's nuclear power plants was a huge mistake, after 3 years since the closure of the last 3 nuclear power plants. No way. Really? It was a huge mistake to shut down the 3rd largest energy production sector of the country which didn't make you be dependent on foreign resources? Didn't see that one coming at all 🤐
