The Government of Tamil Nadu, under the leadership of Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, has launched the “En Kanavu, En Ethirkaalam” portal to empower the youth of Tamil Nadu to share their dreams and aspirations. Building on the “Unga Kanava Sollunga” campaign, this statewide initiative invites direct public participation to help shape future youth welfare schemes and create a brighter tomorrow for the state’s young generation.

Bringing governance to every doorstep, the “Ungaludan Stalin” scheme has delivered 38.4 lakh services across 10,000 camps in Tamil Nadu. With benefits settled swiftly and 75% applications approved, the initiative ensures timely access to welfare, pensions, and essential government services for lakhs of citizens.

The Tamil Nadu Government approved over 1.80 lakh Social Security Pension applications through Ungaludan Stalin camps and e-Sevai centres, supporting senior citizens, differently abled persons, widows, and other eligible beneficiaries. With this, the total beneficiaries increased to 35.43 lakh, backed by an annual allocation of Rs.5,295 crore.

A major boost to paediatric healthcare as the Tamil Nadu government lays the foundation stone for a world-class super-speciality children’s hospital in Guindy. Built at a cost of Rs.417.07 crore, the facility aims to deliver advanced, child-centric care at global standards.
