@EssexSmoggy @BarryNSmith79 Rather broad response, I would say schools do not work as a team for the greater good. It’s a nice ideology and I am sure plenty do. Just look at the sharing of data between infant and junior. My last school waited until October to get YR2 data. Not an uncommon practice.

@BarryNSmith79 Wow! Myself and my primary colleagues are on their knees (as, I expect, are those in secondary). Are we now not a team - all working together for the good of all that come our way? You have insulted a great many teachers who work damn hard to instill values to children every day

Society incredibly permissive. Kids have 11 yrs of low expectations before arrive in secondary. Bring huge host of bad habits. We’ve become institutionalised. Adults in school accept children’s casual rudeness. When children treat adults with contempt it’s accepted as norm.

@gc_lowe Probably go for the one that gives you the best discount for bulk order. Also don’t buy cheap as you end up buying twice.

The same should be for PE. Can it not become an essential when on placement or students don’t go to the school? This then begs the question will the blind be leading the blind?

The Education Secretary has announced that primary schools will continue to benefit from the £320 million #PESP monies for 2021/22 & can carry over underspends for previous funding until Jul '22 to prioritise children’s activity with education recovery.👍😍🦾🙌
