"The deaths of these tiger cubs are a tragic reminder that wild animals suffer in zoos—confined to barren enclosures that are nothing like the vast territories they’re meant to roam, where they would travel great distances each day instead of pacing back and forth in a pen. Zoos are not sanctuaries but ticketed attractions that separate animals from their families and put them at constant risk, and the public should never visit them. PETA urges authorities to transfer the surviving animals to reputable sanctuaries and stands ready to help make that happen." 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫, 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐀 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚.

PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk is showing what the fishing and seafood industry is really about—fish pulled from the water, gasping, helpless, unable to breathe, even cut open while still conscious… a reality millions endure every single day. Leave fish and other sea animals off your plate 🐟💔

Actor Praya Lundberg is urging change for tigers 🐅 Praya has written to Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment calling for stronger laws to restrict—and ultimately shut down—facilities that exploit tigers and other wild animals for entertainment.  Her call comes after reports that 72 tigers have died at Chiang Mai’s Tiger Kingdom, where captive tigers are used in tourist photo ops. Wild animals deserve freedom—not a life as selfie props.

This is what true leadership looks like 💚⚽️ During a playoff final in Istanbul, captain Gani Çatan stopped the game to help an injured seagull—performing chest compressions and carrying the bird to safety. The gull reportedly survived the impact and is now recovering from a wing injury 🕊️ For his kindness, he’s receiving PETA’s Hero to Animals Award. Every Animal Is Someone 💚

Punch’s viral videos aren’t heartwarming, they’re heartbreaking 💔 NEVER like or share these videos, & don’t visit in person! When you do, it entices facilities like Ichikawa Zoo to breed more babies as tourist attractions.

PETA has released the following statement regarding the death of 72 tigers at Chiang Mai’s Tiger Kingdom: Tiger Kingdom is a for-profit operation that exploits tigers for money. For years, PETA has sounded the alarm about this archaic facility. Tigers spend their lives confined and chained, only to be dragged out to pose for photos, where many appear so unnaturally docile that it raises serious questions about whether they’re drugged. These tigers died the way they lived—in misery, confinement, and fear. It’s time for the Thai government to shut down these operations once and for all. PETA stands ready to help move the remaining animals to reputable sanctuaries where they can finally run, explore, and behave like tigers for the first time.

Behind the races, many horses are pushed beyond their limits. Drugs—both legal and illegal—keep them running until catastrophic injuries and fatal breakdowns occur. This #YearOfTheHorse, they deserve a life free from exploitation 🐴❤️
