Actor Praya Lundberg is urging change for tigers 🐅
Praya has written to Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment calling for stronger laws to restrict—and ultimately shut down—facilities that exploit tigers and other wild animals for entertainment. Her call comes after reports that 72 tigers have died at Chiang Mai’s Tiger Kingdom, where captive tigers are used in tourist photo ops.
Wild animals deserve freedom—not a life as selfie props.

This is what true leadership looks like 💚⚽️
During a playoff final in Istanbul, captain Gani Çatan stopped the game to help an injured seagull—performing chest compressions and carrying the bird to safety. The gull reportedly survived the impact and is now recovering from a wing injury 🕊️
For his kindness, he’s receiving PETA’s Hero to Animals Award. Every Animal Is Someone 💚

PETA has released the following statement regarding the death of 72 tigers at Chiang Mai’s Tiger Kingdom:
Tiger Kingdom is a for-profit operation that exploits tigers for money. For years, PETA has sounded the alarm about this archaic facility. Tigers spend their lives confined and chained, only to be dragged out to pose for photos, where many appear so unnaturally docile that it raises serious questions about whether they’re drugged.
These tigers died the way they lived—in misery, confinement, and fear. It’s time for the Thai government to shut down these operations once and for all. PETA stands ready to help move the remaining animals to reputable sanctuaries where they can finally run, explore, and behave like tigers for the first time.

Behind the races, many horses are pushed beyond their limits. Drugs—both legal and illegal—keep them running until catastrophic injuries and fatal breakdowns occur.
This #YearOfTheHorse, they deserve a life free from exploitation 🐴❤️

English

Horses aren’t machines — they feel strain, pain, and exhaustion. Still, they’re pushed to run faster, train harder, and give more than their bodies can safely handle.
This #YearOfTheHorse, remember — horses are living, feeling beings… not sporting equipment 🐴
