We've had a GREAT start to our Wyndham Sports Week! On Monday, we held an Opening Ceremony where our newly elected team captains led with their torches. Who will be victorious Brave Blues, Great Greens, Resilient Reds or Glorious Golds? 🟢🟡🔴🔵 @wyndham_academy

After being inspired in our careers assembly with a visit from local welterweight boxing champion @HarryScarff , we hosted boxercise sessions for our termly fitness days 🥊 The smiles, energy and resilience shone through in every session 🌟👏💪 @wyndham_academy @satrust_

A group of our Year 6 Mini Leaders joined the @DCCTSuperSchool zoom this afternoon to network and share ideas with other schools across Derby 👏👏 @wyndham_academy @satrust_

Over the next two weeks, children, parents and staff at @wyndham_academy will be joining @Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel 2024 by using active travel to get to school 🚶‍♂️🚲🛴 This is a great initiative that meets our Be Active strand from our 'Five Ways to Wyndham Wellbeing'🌟

At @wyndham_academy we are taking part in a competition with Aldi and Team GB to design a healthy, balanced meal fit for an athlete. Winning entries are in with a chance of securing tickets to see Team GB in action in Paris this summer! 🥗🤸‍♀️🚴‍♀️
