Recognising the importance of these priorities, the NIHR have a rolling call of funding which they invite research proposals related to selected priorities. Join speakers from the NIHR and Marie Curie who will outline the process behind the top 24 research priorities, discuss why each priority was selected by the NIHR and provide an overview of the NIHR programmes participating in the rolling call. There will be plenty of time for discussion about the priorities and the research funding process.

Upcoming MAIN Webinar - Research on loneliness in advanced life-threatening illness: A focus on what we can do in our local communities For people living with advanced life-threatening illness, potential risk factors, and outcomes of loneliness can be related in complex ways. Evidence suggests an integrated, multilevel approach is needed. An analysis of findings from a post-bereavement survey explores - What is the quality of care at the end of life? A new publication from Dr Joanna Goodrich, Professor Katherine Sleeman and team shares findings from their analysis of experiences of bereaved family carers in England and Wales. Conducted as part of the Marie Curie Better End of Life Programme, the research identifies challenging experiences of access to care, care coordination and navigating a complex system.
