Data from @FIFPRO’s Player Workload Monitoring Tool shows that over the past two calendar years, Motherwell’s Elijah Just and Hibernian’s Martin Boyle have recorded some of the highest travel distances and minutes played among the 1,500 players in the database.

Players across world football are facing a more demanding schedule than ever. An expanding match calendar, across both club and international competitions, is taking its toll on players and this is not an issue limited to Europe’s top leagues.
