In 1960, four NC A&T students Ezell Blair Jr., Franklin McCain, Joseph McNeil, and David Richmond sat at a Greensboro lunch counter to protest segregation. Their peaceful defiance sparked a movement that changed America forever. We honor their courage. #GreensboroFour #NCAT

Today, we honor Engineer Ramziddin El-Amin, who passed on January 3, 2021, after battling cancer. With 20 years of service, he left a lasting legacy of dedication. Honored as an IAFF Line of Duty Death, his name graces the IAFF Fallen FF memorial, reminding us of his sacrifice.

Today marks 55 years since Firefighter Jesse Gray tragically lost his life on New Year’s Eve 1969 while serving Greensboro. Honored on the IAFF Memorial Wall in 2016, his sacrifice and dedication remain forever in our hearts. We remember and honor his legacy.
