Today we honour the strength, sacrifice and love of mothers everywhere. At Positive Futures Group, we see the powerful impact mothers have in shaping futures. Motherhood is not always easy, as it requires patience, courage and constant giving. Yet mothers continue to show up. They nurture dreams, wipe away tears and stand firm through challenges. Their influence reaches far beyond what they see each day. We also recognise that Mother’s Day can bring mixed emotions. Some are celebrating, some are remembering and some are hoping. Wherever you find yourself today, your story matters. To every mother in our community, thank you. Thank you for loving deeply, for leading with strength and for creating safe spaces where children can grow and thrive. Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Positive Futures Group.

During a recent visit to Ilesa, Nigeria, we spent time with some of the incredible students supported by Positive Futures Group. Their curiosity and ambition were inspiring, asking thoughtful questions about their lessons, their goals, and the futures they hope to build. We spoke about the importance of building a strong foundation early in life and how education can open doors to opportunity. As young people, it’s easy to compare yourself with others, but what truly matters is recognising the opportunities you have and making the most of them. Moments like these remind us why supporting education matters. When young people are given the chance to thrive, entire communities benefit. Together, we are creating positive futures. #PositiveFuturesGroup #EducationMatters #FutureLeaders #InvestInEducation #CreatingPositiveFutures #CommunityImpact

Today we celebrate the strength, courage and resilience of women everywhere. At Positive Futures Group, we see first-hand the impact women make in families, workplaces and communities. We see leaders who rise, caregivers who nurture and dreamers who refuse to give up. International Women’s Day is more than a celebration. It is a reminder that every woman deserves opportunity, support and a future filled with hope. When women are empowered with education, resources and community, transformation happens. Homes become stronger, communities become healthier and futures become brighter. Let this day remind us that investing in women is investing in generational change. When one woman rises, she carries others with her. Happy International Women’s Day from all of us at Positive Futures Group. We celebrate you today and every day. #internationalwomensday #pfg #empowerwomen #strongercommunities #celebrateher

Before the countdown. Before the fireworks. Before 2026 begins. Take a moment. You survived 2025. Not just survived, you GREW. Even on the days you didn't think you would. Even when it felt impossible. You showed up. You tried. You kept going. That deserves to be celebrated just as much as any resolution you'll make tomorrow. So before you focus on who you want to become, take a second to honour who you already are. Happy New Year from all of us at PFG. See you in 2026. #positivefuturesgroup #newyearseve #reflection #2025Recap

2025 was more than just a calendar of events. It was a year of transformation. From the quiet confidence that turned into a ROAR in our Girlz Empowered programme, to the “I CAN” moments sparked at our Ankara workshop, we witnessed incredible growth. We saw teamwork come to life on the football pitch, a community unite for the Walk for a Child’s Future, and parents finally take a well-deserved moment for themselves in our Afro-Dance classes. We didn’t just run programmes this year; we built a movement of empowerment and change. Thank you for being part of the journey. #positivefuturesgroup #girlzempowered #2025inmoments #communityfirst #empowerment

As the year draws to a close, the team at Positive Futures Group extends our warmest wishes to every young person, parent, supporter, funder, and volunteer. This Christmas, we reflect on the incredible resilience and growth we've witnessed across London and the South East, as well as in our work in Africa. From scoring goals in dance and sport to building confidence for the future, your support helps turn potential into reality. May your holiday season be filled with the health, well-being, and personal development you deserve. We look forward to empowering even more futures together in the New Year! #positivefuturesgroup #merrychristmas #christmas2025

As we prepare for Christmas celebrations, many families in our Africa programmes are facing their toughest season yet. School fees and essential needs rise in January, food insecurity continues to affect many, and the long school holidays leave young girls vulnerable without support. But here is the hope. Your support keeps a child learning, fed, protected, and connected to safe spaces. This December, you can be someone's answer. DM “AFRICA” or visit the link in our bio to support. Please visit positivefuturesgroup.org/get-involved/ to make a donation. #seasonofgiving #africaprogrammes #educationforall #girlzempowered
