@SirBylHolte If you decline coverage now and then sign up later assuming your health insurance at work will not be primary at 65, then you will pay more for coverage every month once you do sign up. Better learn all the facts before making a costly decision.

Help me understand this insurance thing: I turn 65 in two weeks and I’m supposed to pay for Medicare Part B if I want to see a doctor or get my prescriptions. Which means I will pay about $203 a month so that if I need to go to the doctor a year from now, I only have to kick in a small co-pay. But in reality, I will have spent $2400+ for the privilege? How does that make any sense? I’m a single male, no dependents, and I take care of my health. I’ve never owned a car so I don’t pay car insurance. I rent, so I don’t have homeowners insurance. I have insurance through my work, but apparently it becomes secondary after Medicare on my next birthday. So I can’t see why I’m supposed to pay for and worry about future health problems. I feel like I'm being extorted by the federal government to pay for something I don't want. Can anyone clarify this for me, because it doesn’t make any sense from a financial standpoint?

@iPacersblog I assumed @Hali didn't feel mentally ready to return to OKC, and I think that was the correct call, waiting to return until he can play there and compete. No good was going to come from him sitting on the bench in that building stewing about game 7.

@TaylorLewan77 Fernando Mendoza sat out 4 quarters due to games being out of reach for the opposing team. If you add in average yards per quarter to his stats for those 4 quarters, he would roughly have had 3209 yards total for the season. Shouldn't be penalized for not playing blow out games.

I’ve said this before, Diego Pavia should be the Heisman winner He’s got 131 less passing yards than Julian Sayin (more than Mendoza) 36 total TD’s and over 800 yards rushing. The logo doesn’t match what we’re used to seeing but he is the best player in College football x.com/FirstTake/stat…

@TonyREast Would be nice to know what about Matthews game is more desirable than what JRE brought. It doesn't make sense to me. JRE seemed like a much better fit with his abilities on the floor. Matthews seems like a misfit to me in the Pacers system.

@AlexGoldenNBA Monte probably needed more time to heal and to get himself in shape to play at the Pacers Pace. Mcclung wasn't distributing the ball as well as you would hope and wasn't great on defense either.

A hilarious history of the 25-26 3rd string Pacers Point Guards: 1. Signed Monte Morris, waived before camp 2. Signed Delon Wright, waived after preseason game 1 3. Signed Cam Payne, waived before start of season 4. Signed Mac McClung, waived today 5. Signed Monte Morris

@Original_Turner Myles, The Boos hurt because you care; There were so many Boos from fans because they also cared. As time goes on, the Boos will go away & the true appreciation for what you did in Indy will be remembered & celebrated. The more you are revered the more it hurts when you leave.

@RomeovilleKid @TheAthleticNBA James, why is this preferable to a 10 day hardship contract? I mean we have brought in 3 PGs so far and didn't think they fit the style of play. Wouldn't have to waive anyone to do a 10 day.

The #Pacers are signing three-time slam dunk champ PG Mac McClung to a multiyear, non-guaranteed contract, sources confirm to @TheAthleticNBA. Indiana will waive C James Wiseman, the 2020 No. 2 pick, to make room for McClung. McClung is much needed amid a rash of guard injuries.

@tyschmit I get the frustration yesterday but to be fair, it took the Colts the entire game to end up with a win over the Cardinals too. The Cardinals are much better than their record indicates. Good win on the road. #GoPackGo

@ToneDigz Possibly Steichen also looked at the team in its totality and recognized that starting AR with a team that has so many injuries right now is setting him up to fail once again, so he went with Jones first.

Crazy thought here, but what if the Coaching staff saw that AR wasn't better than Daniel Jones. I know thats a crazy idea but maybe that's the case. Do we think the coaching staff is trying to lose?
Sam Block@theblockspot

Richardson is younger than Shedeur. Richardson is younger than Will Howard. Richardson is younger than Dillon Gabriel. Richardson is younger than Shough. Richardson is younger than Caleb. Richardson is younger than Bo Nix. Richardson is younger than Penix. And the Colts gave up.

@bkravitz I think Myles was upset that Hali & Siakam both got max contracts soon after arriving, & Myles never got that offer & was in constant trade rumors for years. Felt disrespected IMO.

@lulljay24 I think the writing was on the wall when Hali and Siakam got max contracts. That was the right move, but from Myles POV, he probably felt disrespected again after being there 10 years. Probably part of what was going on with the team 1st part of season.

@ripnaptownjosh Jarace thus far has not shown that he is tough enough or has enough dawg in him to warrant a permanent rotation spot on the Pacers, when compared to current rotation players, nor an extension yet imo

With Jarace Walker entering an extension eligible year, and this whole season for the Pacers likely being a gap year, we absolutely have to unleash Jarace Walker. Some of the holes within the Pacers personnel would likely be fixed with a “expectations met” Jarace Walker.

The Nets use some of their cap space. The available non-Pacers money for Myles Turner is nearly gone, pending other teams making moves of course.

Man. Don’t know how to explain it other than shock. Words cannot express the pain of this letdown. The frustration is unfathomable. I’ve worked my whole life to get to this moment and this is how it ends? Makes no sense. Now that I’ve gotten surgery, I wish I could count the number of times people will tell me I’m going to “come back stronger”. What a cliche lol, this shit sucks. My foot feels like dead weight fam. But what’s hurting most I think is my mind. Feel like I’m rambling, but I know this is something I’ll look back on when I’m through this, as something I’m proud I fought through. It feels good to let this shit out without y’all seeing the kid ugly cry. At 25, I’ve already learned that God never gives us more than we can handle. I know I’ll come out on the other side of this a better man and a better player. And honestly, right now, torn Achilles and all, I don’t regret it. I’d do it again, and again after that, to fight for this city and my brothers. For the chance to do something special. Indy, I’m sorry. If any fan base doesn’t deserve this, it’s y’all. But together we are going to fight like hell to get back to this very spot, and get over this hurdle. I don’t doubt for a second that y’all have my back, and I hope you guys know that I have yours. I think Kobe said it best when in this same situation. “There are far greater issues/challenges in the world then a torn achilles. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, find the silver lining and get to work with the same belief, same drive and same conviction as ever.” And that’s exactly right. I will do everything in my power to get back right. My journey to get to where I am today wasn’t by happenstance, I’ve pushed myself every day to be great. And I will continue to do just that. The most important part of this all, is that I’m grateful. I’m grateful for every single experience that’s led me here. I’m grateful for all the love from the hoop world. I don’t “have to” go through this, I get to go through this. I’m grateful for the road that lies ahead. Watch how I come back from this. So, give me some time, I’ll dust myself off and get right back to being the best version of Tyrese Haliburton. -0 Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

@christhenerd2 @TylerSmith_ISL I think the Pacers need to speak to what health issues were really going on with Myles. I think he got injured during the Knicks series, but don't have any proof. If fans knew what he was dealing with then any decision made would have better context.

Game 6 was one of the best nights in history for Pacer fans. And now, we would go back and lose that game if given the chance. Now the front office has some very tough decisions to make. I hope they still push in, while still making '27 their main focus.
