After 15 years as the @GopherMTennis head coach, Geoff Young will be @UCF_MTennis head coach John Roddick's new volunteer assistant coach. The 2015 Big Ten Coach of the Year had a 209-150 record at the helm before program was cut. Also spent six seasons as @DU_MTennis head coach.

Today Matic lost to Peniston 64 61. The long day yesterday unfortunately took a toll on the body, and after a marathon first set that took 1 hr and 20 min, he could not quite maintain the level, while Peniston managed to even lift it a bit.

First he beat the 7th seed Tadeas Paroulek (CZE) 75 62, and later in the afternoon he beat the 2nd seed of qualifying Robert Strombachs (GER) 61 76(2). Tomorrow he'll be facing off against the 5th seed of the main draw, Ryan Peniston (GBR). #LetsGo 💪

This is the last week in Greece for Matic, and he's been making it count, as he notches up 3 wins in the past 2 days to get into the main draw! Yesterday he beat Neil Oberleitner (AUT) 76(5) 62 and today he faced the 7th and 2nd seed of qualifying.

Matic unfortunately lost to Gianmarco Ferrari in the first round of qualifying 62 36 6:10. He was have a few days befofe the last tournament of the stretch starts.

Matic was doing well today in the super-tiebreak, but unfortunately at the very end the tides have turned and he fell to Cretu 36 63 7:10.

Matic had a good showing in the 1st round of Qualifying in Heraklion (Week 2/4), as he steamrolled the 9th seed, Jakub Paul (SWI) 62 61. He'll be looking to keep the momentum going tomorrow, when he plays Cezar Cretu (ROU). 💪

Also today is a big day for Matic as he flies out to Greece for a swing of events that he will play for the month of November #MaticAntetokounmpo

Felix is on another roll this week in Egypt. Today he played a 3 hour and 40 minute battle in the quarterfinals against 4th seed Vlad Orlov and won 16 76 64. Up next is the 1st seed Alessandro Bega in the semis #grind #gogophs
