When I started learning how to drive, the first person teaching me was calm and nice, but the way he explained the gear used to confuse me. Anytime I got it wrong, he’d be like, “no, not like that… do it like this, like this,” repeating it over and over. He wasn’t shouting, but there was always that tone that made me feel a bit tense, like I didn’t want to mess up again. The following week, another instructor started teaching me. From the first day, his energy was just different. He kept saying things like, “you’re doing well,” “this is good,” “for your third day, this is really good.” And honestly, it did something to me. I found myself trying harder, not because I was scared of getting it wrong, but because I actually wanted to do better. I wanted to make him proud. It just made me realize something, appreciating people for their effort really goes a long way. It boosts their morale in a way pressure never can, and it makes them want to do even more.

Today is my sister's birthday, say a prayer for her. 🙏
