On the third day, we visited the Dachau Memorial & Concentration Camp. It was a profound and somber experience, walking through the site of immense suffering. The memorial educates visitors on the atrocities & honours the victims of the holocaust.

The afternoon of day 2 was spent at Nuremberg Courtroom 600. This historic room, now a memorial, stands as a testament to justice & accountability. The significance of this space is palpable, reminding all of the relentless pursuit of justice & the enduring impact of the trials

On Day 2, our A Level History students visited the Nuremberg Rally Grounds and Documentation Centre. They explored the site of Nazi rallies, gaining insights into the era's propaganda. The vastness of the grounds illustrates their impact on Germany and beyond.

Morning of Day 2 - Another beautiful day in Munich & after an excellent breakfast our A-Level History students headed to Nuremberg. On Saturday's agenda were the Nazi Party Rally grounds, the documentation centre & the Nuremberg Court rooms (site of the 1945 Nuremberg trials)

During our History A Level trip, before dinner on Day 1, we visited the Hans and Sophie Scholl memorial. This brother-sister duo led the White Rose movement against the Nazis. From 1942-1943, they spread anti-war leaflets in Munich, now engraved on the floor. #WhiteRose #Courage

The House Sports competition last week proved to be very popular - the winners for the Netball were Chaffey and for Football were Albert. Well done to all that took part and to our PE team for organising #workhard

The final games of the House Sports competition have wrapped up, and we're eagerly awaiting the announcement of the winners next week. In the Year 11 Girls netball results, Croft secured first place, while Albert came in second. Well done to all participants! #workhard

The A-Level History trip made it safely to Heathrow and they have arrived in Munich. They'll visit iconic landmarks, delve into the past, and gain insights into Munich & Nuremberg's significant role in history and offers students a unique opportunity to extend their learning

Commiserations to our Y9 boys who played in the district football semi-final yesterday against St Bart’s. A 5-3 loss marked an end-to-end battle. After clawing back to a 3-3 draw with little time remaining, we pushed for a winner, which proved detrimental ultimately losing 5-3.

Let's give a huge round of applause to all the students for their incredible energy and spirit during the house competition! The 6th Form football match was a fantastic display of talent and teamwork. Congratulations to Albert House for securing first place and to Joseph House.
