Elektra Higgins battled for the win today and wound up 3rd--matching the highest ever finish for a PHS runner at State XC. Her time was 4th fastest among all classifications, 40 secs faster than last year's winning time, and the fastest State mark in school history by 54 secs.

Wrestling showed me that I'm tougher than I ever imagined. It pushed me beyond my mental and physical limits, instilling an inner strength that still guides me. Advice for High School athletes Stop paying recruiting services. They spam coaches and most of the time get ignored. If you have a school you want to look at you, go online and find the coaches email! Include - Brief bio with athletic stats- contact info - and a transcript!
