🟢 Central Ave has been reopened 🟢

Firefighters battling a first alarm apartment fire near Central Ave and Northern, the PIO is on scene and will update as the incident progresses.

Crews have achieved fire control, there will be a total of four people displaced and two units affected. ⚠️ Road Restriction ⚠️ Central Ave will be closed between Northern and Dunlap for an unknown amount of time.

Crews have achieved fire control on all three houses. There will be a total of 11 people displaced and the cause is under investigation. Community assistance members are currently on the scene tending to the needs of all occupants.

Firefighters are currently on the scene of a double house fire near 35th Ave. and Thomas Rd. The PIO will update as the incident progresses.

The incident has been upgraded to a first alarm, the flames have extended to a third house.

Crews have achieved fire control. At this time a family of three will be displaced. Community assistance members are currently on the scene to tend to the needs of the occupants. The cause is under investigation.

Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire near 75th Ave. and Indian School Rd, the PIO will update as the incident progresses.

Phoenix fire technical rescue personnel are on the scene of structural collapse near Greenway & Cave Creek Rd. Crews have stabilized the scene. Fire Prevention personnel are responding to assess the damage and determine next steps for safely securing the site.

Crews have extinguished an auto shop junkyard fire preventing extension to a nearby structure. There were a total of seven vehicles involved, there are no injuries to report.

Firefighters are currently on the scene of a junkyard fire near 35th Ave. and Lower Buckeye Rd. There are no road restrictions at this time.

Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in a large commercial structure, keeping the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. The fire is now under control. Please avoid the area as crews are still on the scene checking for hot spots. The cause is under investigation.

Fire crews are on the scene of a 1st Alarm structure fire near 19th Ave and Jefferson St. The PIO is on the scene and will give updates as they become available.

Firefighters have assisted an adult male down the trail, where he was transported to a local hospital. The patient experienced a seizure and was unable to continue his decent on his own. All team members are safely off of the mountain.

Technical rescue crew are on scene at Quartz Ridge Trail for reports of an ill hiker. Updates will be giving as they become available.

The second hiker has been safely flown off the mountain.

Technical rescue teams from Phoenix and Tempe are currently at the Echo Canyon Trailhead (Camelback Mountain) for the reports of an overheated hiker. The PIO will update as the incident progresses.

Technical rescue teams are headed back up the mountain for the reports of an additional hiker needing assistance. Phoenix Firebird 10 has arrived on the scene to assist with the rescue.

The hiker has been safely extracted off the mountain utilizing a “Big Wheel” operation.

Crews has made contact with the hiker approximately 1/4 way up the mountain.
