في عالم تتقلب فيه الإمدادات العالمية، لم يعد الأمن الغذائي مجرد تحدٍ اقتصادي، بل أصبح ركيزة أساسية لمستقبل الدول, فالأمن الغذائي لا يتعلق بالغذاء فقط، بل يبدأ من الأعلاف والثروة الحيوانية. تهدف المملكة إلى تأسيس وتوطين منظومة مستدامة ومتكاملة للأمن الغذائي، تعزز الاستقرار وتحد من تأثير التقلبات العالمية على الإمدادات الغذائية، ومن هنا جاء دور فايلا، شركة وُجدت لتقدم حل رئيسي في تعزيز الأمن الغذائي وتوطينه من خلال إنتاج بروتين بديل مستدام، للحد من الاعتماد على استيراد الأعلاف التي من الممكن أن تتأثر بسبب التقلبات العالمية. تأسست فايلا ضمن منظومة الاستدامة في @SEQUENCIVE، والهدف من هذه المنظومة بناء مخزون إستراتيجي غذائي محلي من مدخلات محلية أقل استهلاكا للموارد المائية، وصديقة لبيئة المملكة. طورت فايلا تقنيات حيوية متقدمة لتحويل البقايا العضوية إلى منتجات ذات قيمة اقتصادية، ودمجت هذه التقنيات مع الذكاء الاصطناعي لتتجاوز تحديات الإنتاج محليًا وتصل إلى الإنتاج على نطاق تجاري واسع لتساهم في تقليل الاعتماد على الاستيراد، وتعزيز الميزان التجاري، ودعم الأمن الغذائي للمملكة. In a world where global supply chains are increasingly volatile, food security is no longer merely an economic challenge; it has become a fundamental pillar of national resilience and long-term stability. Food security is not only about food itself. It begins with feed production and livestock. Saudi Arabia is working to establish and localize a sustainable and integrated food security ecosystem that strengthens national stability and reduces the impact of global supply fluctuations on food supplies. Within this vision, PHYLA was established to provide a key solution to strengthening and localizing food security through the production of sustainable alternative protein, reducing reliance on imported feed that may be vulnerable to global disruptions. PHYLA was founded as part of @SEQUENCIVE sustainability portfolio, which aims to build a strategic local food reserve using locally sourced inputs that require fewer water resources and are better suited to the Kingdom’s environment. Through advanced biotechnology, PHYLA has developed innovative methods to convert organic waste into valuable products. By integrating these technologies with artificial intelligence, the company is overcoming local production challenges and scaling toward commercial-level production. This contributes to reducing reliance on imports, strengthening the Kingdom’s trade balance, and supporting long-term food security.

في عام 2023، حين كانت فايلا مجرد فكرة في المختبر، وأبحاث في مراحلها الأولى، وحلمًا أكبر من الإمكانيات المتاحة، لم تكن لدينا قصة نجاح نرويها، ولا أرقام كبيرة نستعرضها. كانت لدينا رؤية وإصرار وإيمان بأن البقايا العضوية يمكن أن تتحول إلى بروتين محلي مستدام يخدم قطاع الأعلاف، وكانت @ARASCO_KSA من شاركنا هذا الإيمان. كل شيء كان تحت الاختبار، والنتائج لم تظهر، والطريق لم يكن واضح المعالم. لكن أراسكو اختارت أن ترى ما وراء الفكرة، أن ترى المستقبل الذي يمكن أن نصنعه معًا، انطلاقًا من إيمانها العميق بأهمية تعزيز الأمن الغذائي وبناء سلاسل إمداد أكثر استقرارًا للمملكة. تبنّت أراسكو في مرحلة مبكرة، ولم تتضح الرؤية. لم تكتفِ بالدعم المعنوي، بل مهّدت الطريق عمليًا، وفتحت لنا المجال لإجراء الدراسات والتجارب التطبيقية، وقياس كفاءة البروتين البديل داخل منظومة الأعلاف، انسجامًا مع دورها الريادي في دعم الأمن الغذائي الوطني. من هنا انطلقت فايلا، فلم نعد مجرد فكرة بحثية، بل أصبحنا من رواد القطاع وفي مكانة مهمة داخل قطاع الأعلاف. منحتنا أراسكو لنثبت أن الابتكار المحلي قادر على إحداث فرق حقيقي في المنظومة الغذائية. اليوم، وباستمرار العمل المشترك مع قيادات أراسكو وعلى رأسهم الرئيس التنفيذي الاستاذ زياد آل الشيخ @ziyad1977 ونائب الرئيس للبحث والابتكار الاستاذ عبدالله اليمني @AbdullahAlyemn4 ننتقل إلى مرحلة جديدة نمد فيها الأثر، ونبني مستقبلًا أكثر قوة واستدامة في الأمن الغذائي. لم تكن أراسكو يومًا مجرد شريك، بل كانت ممكنًا حقيقيً، وكان إيمانهم هو رأس المال الأهم. In 2023, when PHYLA was still in its early research and development phase, and a dream bigger than the resources available, we had no success story to tell and no impressive numbers to showcase. What we had was a vision, determination, and a deep belief that organic waste could be transformed into sustainable local protein to serve the feed sector and @ARASCO_KSA was the first to share that belief. Everything was under testing. The results had not yet emerged, and the path forward was unclear. Yet, ARASCO chose to see beyond the idea, to see the future we could build together, driven by its deep commitment to strengthening food security and building more stable supply chains for the Kingdom. ARASCO supported PHYLA at a very early stage, when the vision was still taking shape. Their support went far beyond encouragement; they paved the way in practical terms, opening the door for us to conduct studies and trials, and to measure the efficiency of alternative protein within the feed ecosystem, aligned with their leading role in advancing national food security. As a result of this collaboration, PHYLA evolved from a research driven initiative into a recognized contributor within the feed sector, establishing a meaningful position in the industry. ARASCO’s support created the conditions necessary to demonstrate that locally developed innovation can generate measurable impact across the food system. Today, through continued collaboration with ARASCO’s leadership, including the CEO Ziyad AlShaikh @ziyad1977 and the VP of Research and Innovation Abdullah AlYemni @AbdullahAlyemn4, PHYLA is entering a new phase focused on expanding its impact and contributing to a more resilient and sustainable food security ecosystem. ARASCO has not merely been a partner in this journey, but a true enabler, and its early confidence remains the most critical form of strategic capital behind PHYLA’s progress.
