There's a Thai community dedicated to 'hooking' people on new books, but I think this one would be a total flop there 😂. It's strictly for those in the 'if you know, you know' crowd 🤣. This is the first edition from the 90s. I originally got it thanks to the generosity of Ajarn Charn because it was so expensive. Even now, it’s not cheap, but I’ve finally picked it up—plus there’s an epub now! The original is legendary for its thickness. The Computer Music Tutorial is essentially the 'Bible' for audio tech. The newest update covers: Pulsar synthesis and concatenative synthesis. Virtual analog modeling. Spectrum analysis by atomic decomposition. Open Sound Control (OSC) protocol. Instrument/patch editors and spectrum editor Prof. Roads wrote this during COVID and released it in 2023. Between work and the kids, I didn't get around to it until 2025. But with a new app in development, it's the perfect time to recommend it!"

Here is for book lovers. A 3D graph showing the relationships between books. When my daughter first saw it, she immediately called it a constellation. The relationships come from AI embedding Data that converts every book into vector data before plotting it on the graph. มีเรื่องสนุกของวันนี้อีกแล้ว คือเมื่อวานผมเห็นคนทำโปรเจกต์แอพวิทยุไว้ฟังเอง ใช้ audio stream ที่มาจาก public radio community แต่ผมดันมีโครงการจะออกแบบหน้าเว็บ groov studio ใหม่พอดี เลยได้ไอเดียที่จริง ๆ เคยทำมาหลายครั้ง คือ radio player แบบที่ให้ประสบการณ์เหมือนวิทยุ คือเปิดมาถึงเจอรายการตรงกลาง ไม่ใช่ต้องเริ่มใหม่ บางทีอาจมีดนตรีแทรก โฆษณาแทรค หรือ jingle ที่พวกวิทยุไว้เปิดบ่อย ๆ แล้วพวก ui ตอนแรกคิดไกลกว่านั้นอีก ที่มีไอเดียคือใช้จอภาพแบบ crt แต่ดันมี visualisation แบบสมัยใหม่เบื้องหลัง CRT filter ไปจนถึงพวกเสียง noise จากวิทยุ ฯลฯ แต่ผมคิดว่าไม่สำคัญเอาไว้ทีหลัง ตอนนี้ผมกลับไปฟังตอนเก่า ๆ ได้อย่างสนุกแบบ random ถ้าสนใจลองฟังกันดูครับ groov.studio/radio/

สิ่งที่เพิ่งรู้จากข่าว anthropic แบน 3rd party tools (จริงๆ เป้าคือ OpenClaw) กับ pro plan คือคนอื่นเขาหาทางใช้ claude subscription plan กับ OpenClaw มานาน ขณะที่เราใช้ token ตามที่จ่ายจริงมาตลอด 😂 แต่ตอนนี้โลกเคลื่อนไหวเร็วมาก ขณะที่อีกฝั่งเรียกร้องให้จ่ายเพิ่ม อีกฝั่งออก workaround มาแก้ลำ แถมแนะนำเครื่องมืออื่นๆ ที่ไม่แบน ซึ่งผมมาคิดดู จริงๆ ก็ไม่ควรแบน เพราะมันคือการใช้งานเหมือนกัน แต่ทีนึ้ model ของ anthropic ที่เคยเขียนไปที ว่าเราจ่าย $20 หรือ $100 เป็นเรทเหมาแบบบัฟเฟต์ เขาอยากให้เราไปใช้ระบบแบบจ่ายตามจริงมากกว่าแต่แรก ส่วนตอนนี้ มี model ฟรี model รันบน local ออกมาเป็นทางเลือก ชีวิตนี้อย่าไปลอง tools เยอะ เอาเป้าหมายก่อนว่าอยากได้อะไร ค่อยหา tools มาใช้ 👌

When you read clickbait posts claiming "this generation is getting stupider," and you happen not to be part of that group—don’t get too arrogant just yet. If you look deeper at an individual level, everyone is different. Remarkable "outliers" can emerge from any group. There was a time when Gen Y was the primary target for criticism, too. But time has shown one thing: Gen Y is in a historically lucky spot. They sit right at the bridge between analog and digital; they experienced the era of "waiting" and grew up just as the internet arrived. We also mustn't forget that Gen Y was raised by Gen X and Boomers, groups that included both toxic individuals and those who were brilliant and kind. Some of them were the very creators of technology—transitioning from analog to CDs, the World Wide Web, and eventually the smartphone. Some say Gen Z is lucky to be "digital natives" with high-speed internet. However, this access has proven to be a double-edged sword. It has affected their ability to wait, their capacity to feel genuine joy for others, and has fueled a sense of entitlement—where they feel they must have something without considering others. Yet, these are simply the tools the previous generations built for them. Parents who raise their children by plopping them in front of a screen are seeing the results of their own convenience-seeking behavior. Ultimately, all society needs is humanity and kindness toward one another—an understanding of what people of each age group had to endure to become who they are. The root of the problem, however, is that humans usually want others to understand them, but they don’t want to understand others. 😂 A major technological turning point I remember vividly was in 2010 when Apple launched the iPad. Steve Jobs wanted it to be "intimate and natural." The philosophy itself was wonderful: you could give it to your mother or grandmother and they could use it immediately without a lengthy explanation. But the byproduct of that simplicity is that when things become too complex, a portion of the new generation lacks the patience to understand them. This is likely the origin of the perceived "decline in intelligence." From here on—in the era of AI and looming wars—whatever will happen, will happen. Compassion is what the world needs most, because it is exactly what is starting to disappear.

ตั้งแต่ช่วงหลัง covid เวลาต้องติดต่อคน ไม่บอกว่ารุ่นไหน มันเริ่มรู้สึกว่าคุณภาพต่ำลงแบบสำคัญ เพราะมันสะเทือนขวัญมาก ว่าพวกเขาจะอยู่ยังไง หรือจะอยู่ด้วยกันยังไง โชคดีที่ในแต่ละปี เจอเคสแบบนี้ 1-2 ครั้ง เลยพอลืมๆ ไป จนกว่าจะมาเจอใหม่ พอเจอหลายแบบ ผมตกผลึกอย่างหนึ่ง ว่ากันตรงๆ คือ คนจะโง่ก็ได้ แต่เราต้องมีเมตตาต่อกัน หรือใจดีต่อกัน เพราะแนวโน้มที่น่ากลัว คือโง่แต่เสือกใจร้ายอีก!! เคสที่ผมเจอจากกรณีรถเช่า หรือกรณีล่าสุด ผู้สร้าง openclaw โดนคนใช้เมล์มาขอเงินค่า token คืน เพราะ bot ทำงานพลาด อันนี้เป็นกรณึที่เรียกว่าโง่และใจร้าย เจอกันปีละครั้งสองครั้ง ก็สะเทือนขวัญครับ ผมไม่อยากจะว่าใครรุนแรง เอาเป็นว่าถ้าคุณไม่รู้อะไีืไม่มีสามัญสำนึก สติปัญญาอาจน้อยไปบ้าง มีความใจดี มีเมตตา เรายังพร้อมอยู่ร่วมกันได้ครับ

Beyond Bitterness: Finding Your Place in the Age of AI Recently, I’ve come across many posts filled with "bitterness"—criticizing those who use Suno to compose music or "vibe code" to build systems, claiming they aren’t "real musicians" or "real programmers" because they lack "foundational skills." I am someone who, to this day, hasn't used AI to complete a song or compose musical parts (though I’ve used it for mastering). The main reason? I just can't bring myself to do it; I haven’t even dared to try prompting. I also know incredibly talented professional artists who wouldn’t dream of touching Gen AI. Perhaps it goes against our instincts—our brains have been trained through practice since we were children. On the other hand, people with zero musical background are earning hundreds of thousands of baht per month using Suno, releasing an album every month. If you ask me if I feel bitter, I can only think: these people dared to try because AI made their dreams a reality—and it’s profitable. Why should I criticize them or let bitterness poison my mind? I once had a client who earned six figures monthly as a "beat maker" without any formal musical training. He relied purely on taste, but more importantly, he applied SEO-like strategies to get his tracks trending on Spotify. The creative process between a beat maker and a Suno user might differ, but the destination is the same: generating income from their work. You might blame the listeners for having "no taste" or tell the creators they aren't "musicians." But they don't care what you call them. It doesn't change the fact that they’ve found a way to make a living. What do you gain from staying bitter? This is just one of many cases telling me that the world is vast. You don't need to be famous or show your face; if you do the right things, the income follows. Looking at coding: I’ve managed web systems for many clients and faced countless pain points. You have to read endless documentation and rely on references because the human brain can't retain everything. Ultimately, your goal is the result. AI has bridged this gap significantly. It might not replace everything yet, but if it delivers the results we need, why wouldn't we use it? We can still oversee quality and security—and these verification tools are getting smarter every day. There will be much more bitterness to come because AI is a "great equalizer." Those who couldn't read English can now use tools previously reserved for the bilingual. Polyglots who spent their lives mastering languages might feel shaken because AI can speak every recorded language on earth. My only advice: stop being bitter and find your standing in a world that is changing forever. Currently, I’m building AI systems to run businesses, using humans only for tasks AI cannot yet handle. As for music, I’m starting to use AI as a "co-producer." Not to churn out ten songs a month, but to help me finish my work exactly how I want it—without losing my soul. Just like every word in this post, which I typed myself. Because if we stop thinking and writing for ourselves, there’s nothing left of who we are.
