@1goodtern Plus 6 deaths from PIMS-TS, triggered by Covid 19. The most at risk of PIMS-TS are our Covid naive youngest children, like the sweet baby in the photo. PIMS also causes heart damage and leaves whole families traumatised.

Covid infection killed as many babies here in 2024 as it did in 2020, 2021, and 2023 combined.
And that's just the confirmed deaths.
And that's just the acute deaths.

@DonEford I suspect they’d quite happily wear an FFP2/3, but no one has ever told them the difference.
If people are informed & still choose a surgical mask, then that’s their decision...
…but the lack of proper Public Health advice on the *right* type of mask is absolutely infuriating.

The best mask for someone to use to protect themselves is the one you can get them to wear.
Every mask has protective qualities.
Some are clearly better…
However, any mask worn as a prevention measure is better than no mask at all.

@1goodtern I have noticed a more interrogatory approach from QC's to politicians and a much more muted approach to healthcare leaders. For our families, the later are far more relevant. Not all smarmy, dangerous, minimising idiots are politicians.

You need to know that the core participants of the UK Covid Inquiry are not allowed to ask questions without approval.
And lots of their questions have been turned down.
The core participants are trying their best, but their hands are tied.
It's not a full and open inquiry.

Pete wrote this ⬇️ tweet back in 2023. Having now watched hours & hours of Covid Inquiry footage, I think there’s an enormous amount of truth in it. And it’s infuriating that so many of these individuals are still in positions of influence. Still blocking. Still doubling down.

@annesmithmcc @covidinquiryuk There are many other awkward questions they could have asked Viner but didn't. We noticed a brief moment of alarm on Viner's face when PIMS-TS was mentioned. Other than that he was given free rein to do what he does best, minimise and patronise.

@annesmithmcc @TheBHF Yes, I encountered the same when I asked if PIMS-TS was classified as a condition that is a cause of acquired heart disease, just as Kawasaki Disease is the number 1 cause of acquired heart disease in children. They didn't have an answer.

I actually thought for a minute there that @TheBHF were FINALLY going to speak up and start sharing some of the overwhelming evidence that Covid infections are causing serious cardiovascular harm.

@envidreamz Long Covid (and/or stress/trauma) can cause estrogen to take a dive and cause spikes in BP and HR. So ironically the mention of links to female hormones could be a possibility.

I just went to the cardiologist bc I have been experiencing high blood pressures consistently since getting a “mild” COVID case this summer from my family that lives with me.
After telling the cardiologist this happened after getting Covid this summer & showing him a logbook of blood pressures I have been keeping daily since then & saying I never had any issues previously…
He INSISTS that it’s most likely my BIRTH CONTROL doing this. I’ve been taking that since I was 16 y/o!
He then goes on to say “how healthy” I look & I’m doing a great job of taking care of my health. 🤬
So here I am with no blood pressure meds, no referrals & no tests.
Just a big “SEE YA & HERE’S YOUR BILL” 👋
Another strike for someone that LOOKS HEALTHY, but is NOT 🫠🫠🫠

My uncle booked his flu & covid vaccines for this Autumn. Turns up to have them & gets turned away for covid as he’s not 75 (he’s 74). There are so many people in this position. Trying to do the right thing to protect themselves & denied. Anyway, told him to mask up in public 👍🏼
