From Edward R. Murrow’s broadcasts to today, CBS News Radio has been part of the foundation of American journalism. Murrow’s mic sits on display at the National Press Club as a reminder of that legacy. When an institution like that disappears, it’s a loss for the public & for journalism.

The Trump administration is suing New Jersey over a state order that prohibits federal immigration agents from making arrests in nonpublic areas of state property, such as correctional facilities and courthouses. bit.ly/4aQbWxN

It should be noted that the DOJ press release does not include the part about ICE agents needing a warrant to access nonpublic areas of state property.

The federal government is suing N.J. over Gov. Mikie Sherrill's executive order limiting ICE operations without a warrant on state property. Acting AG Davenport says they look forward to defending the order in court. @whyynews #NewJersey
