Traditional Chinese painting is often of nature, uses black ink or limited colour and has a symmetrical, simplified and ideal (rather than real) design.

Our EYFS children have been exploring ‘Growing and Changing’ through a partnership with Incredible Eggs. Pupils observed ducklings hatching and learned about life cycles, care and respect for living creatures. Lots of curious and thoughtful discussions took place. @PKCKST

In science, Y5 have started their #astronomy lessons learning about astronomers and the study of space. They gained deeper understanding using a simple balloon experiment of the Big Bang Theory and how particles warmed up and expanded to create galaxies. @PKCKST

As part of their @PKCKST topic, Growing and Changing, EYFS talked about the changing seasons and how the weather changes over the four seasons. They identified their favourite seasons, studied and used natural objects to create faces and even presented a weather forecast!
