If we're going to have, on average, six Standard sets each year, then Standard NEEDS to drop back down to being a two year format. I'm hoping that this change is announced to coincide with the rotation in January 2027.

Lorehold was the worst deck in original Strixhaven mostly because the graveyard theme straight up didn’t work, but man their apprentice was not doing them any favours either
Thankfully , Lorehold is great in Secrets of Strixhaven

Updated the Historic Tier List yesterday. I’ll make one more update in the coming weeks once the meta settles after Strixhaven hits MTGA, so expect new decks in the tiers. After that, I’ll pause to focus on prepping others for the Historic Championship. I will come back after it!

Took me 75k gems and a million tries to get 4 wins at the play-in. Easily my worst run ever playing on arena and a tough day, heh. It was a bit frustrating, but that's part of playing. Sometimes you lose. Sometimes you lose A LOT. If you also lost a lot today, you're not alone.

re; lands discussion, Magic clearly has a lot going for it to have lasted 33 years, but it's very antiquated too. This lends it a lot of charm, but the land system, priority system, turn structure, instant-speed gotchas etc would not look like this were Magic a new game instead

This effect is very interesting for STX limited.
If this card is too good it might shatter my dreams of playing slow multicolored decks.
I hope there is just a right amount of creatures with cheap spells so this enchantment doesn't break combat but that it's still relevant

Magic online did this while i don't know why they not listed my country and some SEA country that don't have problem with US in the list so i cannot join scheduled event with the new eligibility list. I already contact the customer support but no response until now. 🥲🥲🥲

@Kapala_mtg I agree Food Chain has a huge impact on Historic meta. That's said, I think other decks haven't found/played good sideboard strategies against Food Chain. One of my friends said Opposition Agent can stop their tutor plans since they run few creature removals.
