@jerrycurld Had to fix several of these over the years. All had issues stemming from excess headspace. It's not a particularly difficult fix though.

Christ. 160 is way past past narc depth and into CNS oxygen toxicity range. Been diving for most of my life and the deepest I've ever been was 210 on trimix and that was incredibly intimidating. I don't even go past 40 without nitrox. Can't imagine 160 on air. Those poor people.

28% blend is .28 x 5 ATA brings you to 1.4 pp02 which is recreational max.
Not to mention your bottom time at 140 is less than 9 minutes.

@SlavicAgent Helps with NDL's and I generally end up feeling less winded after the dive on nitrox. I'm good friends with the shop owner, so the tank doesn't run me any extra 🤷♂️

@PKPatchworks You don’t go past 40 without nitrox? You should only go on nitrox on extended dives in the 60-80ft range otherwise you’re wasting money and going to get O2 poisoning.

@Waaghinsti4937 Lord only knows. One or two may have separated from the group and narc'd. When the others went to retrieve them they likely also narc'd. Given depth possible oxtox, siezed, spit their reg. Not a lot of ways for something like this to play out unfortunately.

@basedmerchant1 In the cave? There's nothing. On my dive? There was a cool boat that I wanted to see. Visibility was bad so I had to get reeeally close. That was my Everest. I stick to reefs and shallow wrecks now.
