@irlponta and when i pointed out that regardless, in flashbacks bucky and steve's dynamic is still very batman and robin and even in the winter soldier arc the bits of their wartime dynamic we do get still very much position their relationship as pretty familial, they blocked me

@irlponta i think their main argument for why their relationship supposedly isn't like that in the comics is that bucky was retconned to be closer in age to steve around the time of the original winter soldier arc (he was originally 10-11 and aged up to around 16)-
