@js_neuro @Phenotyping1 @Bf3R_centre @scioi_cluster The video shows females. We do not expect aggressive behavior in females and have not observed any so far. It could be different with males, this will be tested in the future.

@PKahnau @Phenotyping1 @Bf3R_centre @scioi_cluster Were these mice raised together? Isn't there any concerns for aggression and fighting? I am very new to this and have only ever worked with small cages housing 4-5 mice max. And they've been very aggressive if even the littermates raised together were separated and then reunited.

@nico_panayotis @Phenotyping1 @Bf3R_centre @scioi_cluster The mice were placed in one of the boxes by my colleague a few minutes before I made the video. The boxes are connected to each other by tubes. This allows them to run into all the boxes. Everything was new to the mice and they immediately started exploring.

@PKahnau @Phenotyping1 @Bf3R_centre @scioi_cluster Pretty impressive setup. They behaved like that upon entry into the boxes or more? I ask, because they seem pretty excited during what should be the light (resting) phase, no?

The system allows for activity measurement (RFID based, MoPSS) as well as video and audio recording.
