A diferença é que, no caso dela, sua mutação parece estar ligada a um mecanismo instintivo de defesa e adaptação. Jennifer Starkey assume a forma do animal que precisa para enfrentar cada situação. Em suas primeiras aparições, por exemplo, desenvolveu escamas e guelras enquanto fugia de intolerantes anti-mutantes, cogitando mergulhar em um rio para escapar. No cotidiano, costuma manter asas de pássaro, já que adora a sensação de liberdade e o prazer de voar. Mas também já se transformou em tigre e até em mamute, mostrando a pluralidade do seu poder. O único detalhe é que Jennifer não consegue retornar à forma humana, ou, pelo menos, ainda não demonstrou controle suficiente dos seus poderes para isso. Entre os X-Men, ela e o Fera têm trocado olhares e flertes, e honestamente? Acho que vai dar namoro.

@jupitersexodus @DailyMutantsX Again, I love Jean Grey. I love what Claremont did with her and Morrison too. I just think that some writers and fans just turn her into a 2-D powerhouse. But yeah, it’s my opinion. Why wouldn’t it be?

@PKinkil @DailyMutantsX “Mary Sue’d” and it was always Chris Claremont’s intention to make Jean grey the x-men’s answer to Thor. The age of information and you choose your own bias and understanding rather than the words of the writer. Get a grip.

@jupitersexodus @DailyMutantsX Don’t get me wrong. I love her. She’s the reason I started getting into Marvel. That said, she’s definitely gotten Mary Sue’d recently. The Dark Phoenix arc happens pretty quickly and shifted her too far imo. She’s definitely op, but we love her for it
