Hawks send Condolences to Al Kreb' family. rettingerfuneralhome.com/obituary/Almon… Al played 3rd Base for Hawks and was on 1993 Amateur Baseball World Series and 1997 MBA State Championship Hawks Team. Al is #27 in picture. Long time Hamel Hawks manager Sonny Hilyar remembers Al Kreb when he played for the Long Lake Brewers. Krebber was a great pickup for the Hawks. Great third baseman with a good bat. In his later years with the Hawks Krebber use to bug Hilyar about getting some innings on the mound and that happened with Al throwing some nasty knuckle balls. Great guy and he will be missed greatly. RIP #27

CLASS B STATE TOURNAMENT FINAL New Ulm 3 Princeton 2 (18 inn.) Trevor Nissen's second home run of the game wins it for the Brewers in a marathon. New Ulm struck out 28 times tonight yet finds a way to win.

With just two games left in Class B this weekend, district champions are now 1-5. The Hutchinson Huskies are the lone champ to advance to Labor Day Weekend so far.
