@timricketts_ Fair point. Truth be told it is seldom the profession that makes for an arrogant individual. I've been a nurse for 30+ years and encountered many from all professions inc. my own. It's usually born of self importance and ignorance of the importance of others. Still a fair point.

Previously, many doctors were rude/dismissive to other staff. To remedy this, emphasis was put in medical education to value the MDT. I shadowed every AHP under the sun. Yet it seems no other professions shadow doctors. Could go a long way to help conflicts on the wards

The pen is mightier than the sword - but less useful in a battle reenactment. At the end of the week I am off for a few days Airbnb in a barn in Devon where I shall be alone with my pen. I thought about taking the sword but I can't write with it. Bliss.
