I was able to get into the lab early this morning to spend some time wrenching on Mentorbot. The drive base is built and every bit as beautiful as we envisioned. I can’t wait to see this bot rip around the field for the first time! #OMGrobots #centerstage

We were out moose hunting with nohtawiy (my father) & nitikwatim (my 9 year old nephew)& out of no where he asks my dad “mosom (grandfather), when you were in residential school, how did you escape?” Nohtawiy thought about it & said “I couldn’t.” That was a sad, powerful moment.
