I made a thing! I have a love/hate relationship w/ #Fusion360 but I managed to #3DModel a couple new clips to hold the bottom of the blinds on our back door. They fit and so far seem to be doing what they are designed to do - hold the blinds in place! #smallvictories

I still need to print a spacer for the filament sensor to raise it up to the level of the extruder but that’s a Monday problem!

I feel pretty good after getting all of our robotics lab #3DPrinters back on line this week. 3 of 5 were down. It took a bit to Frankenstein this CR6 back to life. I ended up swapping an Ender 3 hot end, and a filament extruder off a CR10 to get it back in the game. #spareparts

Some projects go as planned, others fight you the whole way. Mentorbot’s a fighter - it’s 2 steps forward/1.5 back w/ this damn bot. Still, it’s a blast tackling each obstacle. I’m about to 3D print the right rear bumper for the 3rd time… no biggie it’s only a 12 hr print!
