Walker Valley is headed to the Final Four for the first time since 2009. Mustangs roll to their 30th win of the season. The Davis brothers were exceptional. Entire team came to play.

Nice fight by Zach Davis for the offensive rebound and putback. Walker Valley closing the first half strong up 32-23.

Ashton Davis with a nice find to Isaac Sausville for a left corner 3. Walker Valley senior floor general with a trio of assists to help the Mustangs build a 16-11 lead over Farragut after one quarter of play.

Walker Valley is rolling so far up 13-4 early on Farragut. Turner Clayton with the nice lay in. Wyatt Keeton has six points in the paint and Ashton Davis has a pair of assists, including to his brother Zach on a three.

Walker Valley (29-3) is set to take on Farragut (25-11) in the Class 4A state quarterfinals. Mustangs only three losses this year are to Hamilton Heights (twice) and Tellico Plains. 7-1 against state-ranked opponents. WV looking for first Final Four run since 2009.

Chattanooga Prep got off to an 8-0 lead by the 5:21 mark of the 1Q. Peabody outscores them 13-2 the rest of the quarter. Sentinels struggling to find a rhythm on offense.

Chattanooga Prep takes to the floor at the Murphy Center where they stand three wins away from being just the ninth boys’ basketball team in TSSAA history to win at least three state titles in a row. No team from Chattanooga has ever won three straight titles.
