We dey shout say Nigeria get about $49 billion in reserves. Okay. And so. Nigeria debt pass $100 billion. External and domestic combined. So who cares. Na like person wey dey post bank alert say e get ₦49,000 for account, but e owe creditors ₦100,000. Wetin be the achievement. The money no be free money. The debt no disappear. The creditors still dey knock. Reserve no cancel debt. Reserve no equal wealth. Reserve no mean country don okay. Until debt drop, production rise, and people feel am for ground, this reserve celebration na noise. That’s all.

When you die, your life will be summarized into facts about your early life, 1–3 short anecdotes showing your qualities, what you meant to others, and who you’re survived by. Whatever you’re stressed about today won’t make the list.

I’m Dee Beast’s brother. From now on, I’ll be managing this account. I know it might feel strange to some of you since he’s late, but this is truly what he would have wanted. Dee Beast believed in consistency, impact, and never giving up.

My pikin push teacher ke? I will buy enough pankere (Cain) and escort him to the school, look for the teacher and hand him over a piece of the Cain, and ask him to flog the child 6 stroke of the Cain on his bottocks. After which, I will now ask what really happened that warranted him pushing his teacher if I am not convinced enough I will flog him another 6 strokes on his buttocks. You push teacher ke, how nau? I am not even capping, it is exactly what I will do.

This morning I followed up with the case from Starville School Abuja on the couple (Mr & Mrs Balogun) who slapped their teacher. The year 8 child has now been expelled from the school and the parents permanently banned from the school. What really happened was that the teacher (Mr. Etim) asked the boy to line up with other students. He was unruly and the teacher tapped his head. The student immediately pushed the teacher twice which resulted in the teacher slapping the boy. The school sanctioned the teacher with forfeit of a week salary and also issued him a final warning letter never to lay hands on any child or he get sacked. The school Principal (Mr. Makundu) apologized for over 30 minutes to the couple. The teacher also did apologize but the parents chose to take laws into their hands. We will need to talk further legal actions to ensure that this doesn’t become a norm with parents in our schools. If a parent doesn’t want their child to be disciplined, they should do home schooling.

if I'm being honest with you, this constant chase for money at such a young age is starting to destroy me. Academically, I can't focus in class anymore. It's also taking a toll on my relationship, I barely talk to her, and maybe she thinks I don't love her anymore. but the truth is, I'm just overwhelmed. It's ruining me as a person. I can't even sleep peacefully at night anymore.

If your degree didn’t give you a clear professional identity, go write CIS. You’ll thank your future self for it. And yes, you should come back to say thank you too. 😉
