Wow, it’s hard for most golfers to make an eagle, but to find one flying over a golf course is even more special. Saw this one in flight near the lagoon along the Bayou Oaks course at New Orleans City Park. ⁦@WWLTV⁩

We are learning Rex King of Carnival will be arriving on the river at Spanish Plaza aboard the Port NOLA fire boat. The monarch usually arrives to begin his Mardi Gras rein aboard a Coast Guard cutter. That cutter is not available because of the partial government shutdown @WWLTV

There is currently a power outage in the West End area of Lakeview in New Orleans. The electricity went out around 9:30 a.m. Looks like it is effecting more than 100 customers. @WWLTV

This ordinance comes after New Orleans east neighbors complained about plans to build a data center near I-10 and Read Blvd. They claim data centers do not belong in residential neighborhood and they are a drain on energy and city water. @WWLTV

The New Orleans City Council has passed an ordinance to place a one year moratorium on Data Centers. The council instructed the city planning commission to define Data Centers with the intent to block them in the future. ⁦@WWLTV⁩
