Pleased to attend the forward-looking Pakistan–Ireland Parliamentary Friendship Group meeting, convened by MNA Munaza Hassan and attended by Ambassador of Ireland to Pakistan HE Mary O’Neill, and Deputy Head of Mission Declan Johnston.
The Convener and members welcomed Ireland’s Embassy opening in Pakistan in 2024—a key milestone in bilateral relations!
We discussed enhanced cooperation in digital innovation, advanced agriculture, renewable energy, climate resilience, sustainability, & trade.
Ambassador O’Neill praised the Pakistani diaspora’s vital contributions in education, healthcare, IT, and more, spotlighting Mr. Ammar Ali—Dublin’s first Pakistani-origin councillor—as a shining example of community leadership.
Both sides are committed to deepening ties in sports, education, health, IT & more. 🇵🇰🤝🇮🇪 #PakistanIrelandRelations
