A Chick-fil-A owner reported hundreds of phony refunds to the Grapevine Police. Detectives noticed Keyshun Jones, an employee who was terminated a month prior, behind the counter and using the computer multiple times without permission. Jones allegedly would process a mac and cheese tray transaction and then refund the fraudulent purchase onto his own personal credit card. Jones did this scam about 800 times, totaling over $80,000. He then evaded arrest multiple times before the Texas Attorney General’s Fugitive Task Force and the Fort Worth Police Department were able to detain him. Jones faces charges of property theft, money laundering, and evading arrest.
