Early on in the development of The Machinist, I had the idea of adding a fourth tier of robots to the overworld to go in the North Forest during its restoration (or after a FAILED restoration). And this tier was going to be either "Haunted" or "Heartless", the idea being that the hundreds of souls lost during the events of The Dead Forest had haunted loads of leftover/destroyed robots, reactivating them with paranormal features like blood/oil pouring from their missing parts. The idea of the Heartlesses returning via robotic enemies in PA was actually repurposed somewhat into the minibosses. If you look carefully at the Robot Chica, Foxy and Bonnie designs, they actually have the keycard which you need for the minecart, on their chests. If they were to ever be re-activated or haunted, I guess they would be heartless. But they don't, so let's just pretend.

@foxflame2 His colours come from the green, grey and purple colours being used to represent the positive, neutral and negative Battle Gifts. Those came first. I picked those colours because they weren't already used by existing battle abilities.

@Orstak_ I think you're talking about the North Forest. You should try exploring the green forest, especially underground! Make sure you're reading the metal signs at the start of each cave; they give unique hints.

Finished up playing Popgoes ARCADE yesterday with a friend of mine and HOLY SHIT the Machinist is fun! I completed the game with 181% completion, and I don't know what I'm missing

@fazbadee Technically all controllers are supported, but in the case of PlayStation you need to re-bind the buttons via Steam for their prompts to be accurate in-game. Just go to the "Edit Layout" settings menu for the game and it should work. Sorry for the issue!

@POPGOESdev Hi Kane, happy anniversary💚 I was wondering if POPGOES Arcade supports the PS5 controller; the controls for the square and X buttons seem to be swapped. When I press the square, that's the select button, and X enables settings, when it should be the other way around.
