(My first tweet is a prediction that will come to pass) We live in the dawn of a new age. The AI Era is going to change the way we live far more than the Industrial Era did.

@Kekius_Sage AI is not a singular entity. It is the most powerful tool humanity has created. it can learn by itself. Nothing comes after AI, AI will predict, enact and discover what is next and whatever it is, it will have AI as its core. We are at within the core since we created it.

What will come after AI?

@MarioNawfal This is an example of the simulation universe. If we become capable of creating models of our universe that are as detailed as we see now then out of that one original universe billions of simulations can be made so the odds are we are in a simulation, not the original.

@MarioNawfal When we speak of the technological singularity, we have to be obscure. The reason is that when AI becomes recursive it will increase exponentially and might solve long lasting mysteries in science and at the same time answer questions that we are not yet capable of asking.

@alexutopia Yes, the people who benefit from AI the most are those who were great at what they did but could not fulfill other roles. My role has been Guitar/Songwriter/Lyrics. AI is my drummer. vocalist and bass player. AI models are complementary if used as such, not replacements.

I like the term AI slop. I use it often to describe the wave of unhinged noise flooding every social platform. But after decades of stale Hollywood slop, a little creative destruction is warranted. And somewhere in that mess, a new kind of artist is emerging.

@exQUIZitely And now, many years later, Unreal is a juggernaut game engine. As many people will say, War advances technology. Quake was the bar that had to be beat and Unreal did it in style and ushered in a new era of graphics and PVP

@exQUIZitely 1990s 1996 Team Fortress. This game (mod) was so far ahead of its time that it is impossible to be over-rated. It ushered in the age of MMO and was the most popular, and almost only, PVP experience online until unreal came around. It is the Lucy fossil for online gaming.

What was your formative gaming decade?

@exQUIZitely This mod, that was released for free, was directly responsible for Quakespy, then Gamespy and also influenced the Unreal game, as their goal was to blow away any other FPS release. Not only that but epic included the editor. With quake you had to use worldbuilder to make mods.

@Patryn36 @martinmbauer No, good ones represent its nature, and all credible ones will say if you think you understand quantum mechanics you do not understand quantum mechanics. Sean Carroll for example points out other ideas that are not the one he favors. It is still ongoing research, they know this

A photon doesn’t know anything. This kind of language is responsible for 99% of the confusion about quantum mechanics

@ArmoredOptimist @martinmbauer I can answer it, as far as our current understanding goes. By observing it,we interact with it. We are also Quantum Mechanical not an outside overseer. The electron becomes entangled with the detector, The detector entangles with the lab, The lab entangles with the universe.

@sciencegirl Our tech will improve, I think the bigger issue is that there is no united humanity. We are a species with warring factions that have been at war for all recorded history. If one country establishes a strong presence there it would back the others into a corner. War would follow.

@Askwhyisit Morality has nothing to do with religion at all. Religion was a useful tool to control people and it has been a yoke around humanities neck that we are only recently (historically) strong enough to cast off.
