Through a grant from the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center, riders reported increased engagement in the community for same-day opportunities they couldn't access before, like trips for holidays, entertainment and social events. 🚌

The PPACG Board of Directors joined others in recognizing today as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. The Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging's Ombudsman Team has hosted events throughout the region this week to build a better understanding of abuse and neglect of older persons.
