@EarlGodolphin @ursine_meeting In September 2025, we announced we wouldn't charge a conventional PPF levy for 2025/26. Our intention for 2026/27 is to not charge a levy to conventional schemes, depending on the passage of the levy measures in the Pension Schemes Bill. ppf.co.uk/levy-payers/he…

@ursine_meeting Your suspicion is correct. There's also the pension protection fund levy which charges extortionate amounts of money to a fund that doesn't have a very low risk investment strategy. So every fund is run in an incredibly risk adverse way.

If i check pension law, I bet I find that trustees are liable for losses but not liable for gross underperformance.
